Where have I seen this before?

This looks so familiar.  Two cousins, almost the same age.

It is as if this has happened before.  A giant blond boy and a sweet brown-haired girl.

Hmmmmm.

Wait... it think I know why!

It has happened before!!  This is big sister and big brother.  They were the originals.

Don't be so sad baby.  You can add your own spin to it.

See!  I don't think I ever saw your sister do that.

You two are too much!

 Love you crazy little babies!!!

Life is crazy in May!

My life gets crazy in May with baseball, dance recital, end of school stuff and planting time.  So I have not had much time to sit down and write.  But here is a quick picture update.  I will be writing again soon!

Asher is down and ready in the center.

He had such a good game that he got the game ball!  What an honor.

So proud!

The team minus Whitt and Caiden.

It's neat to have cousins playing right across the complex.

In our spare time, we like to jump on the trampoline.

Sometimes we fall down.

All the way down.

A preview of Jolie's recital.  This is McKenzie, Merik and Jolie.

A preview of the backyard garden.  No plants yet.  We are a bit behind.  This is the load of composted cotton burrs that we got to amend the soil.

This sweet boy doesn't have baseball pics yet because I keep forgetting my camera.  Next week baby, next week.

Thanksgiving with family

We were fortunate to get to spend the holiday with my family in New Mexico.  It was a fun weekend with lots of action.  We had good food with good company.  It was just as Thanksgiving should be.  Here are the pics.

Kid's table!  Always the most fun.
The adult-children's table

The actual adult's table

My beautiful sister.  I'm sorry that I used to sit on you and blow in your face.  You did not deserve that.  Well, you sometimes did.  But I am still sorry.

She is such a little mama.  I love that about her.

Liv baby with her daddy.

Ava, you have a little something in your teeth.

I was trying to get a good pic of all of the cousins but 2 of my boys would not cooperate.  One is not pictured.  One is on the left.

I just loved this one.

Sweet girls.

This sums up his attitude the whole weekend.  Homeboy did not sleep, at all.  He was CRANKY!

It's The Face!

I love cousins.  There is something so special about that relationship.  I miss having Thanksgiving with mine.  The cheeseballs, playing backgammon, watching movies, starting a band, staying up all night talking and laughing, and just enjoying each other.  Man, where does time go?

We give thanks for the blessings you have allowed us.  You are a good Daddy and you love to give good gifts to your children.  Thank you that you have given me these precious people to share life with.

Why I am not a professional photog-Sister's family

My sister, bless her heart, thinks I am a good enough at photography to take her family pics. Well, we tried and here are the results. I give major props to you real photogs out there. It hard to take quality pics of a sleepy 1-year-old. The little stinker!

I love this family.

This girl was a natural. Look at that smile!

This is SO HER!

I think it's my fav!

No wait! This is my fav!

A girl and her daddy. Too sweet

Ornery girl!

I guess we got a few they can use. It was fun!

Fall fun!

My sis-in-law called me last week and told me about this neat little place down by Lubbock. (It was actually in Idalou but I had never heard tell of that community.) It was a pick your own apple place called Apple Country Orchards. It was so much fun! We had a great meal made with things from the farm. Then got to tour the orchard. Then we got to pick and eat until we and our bags were full! The great thing is that the orchard is organic. So no worries about pulling apples off of the tree and eating them. It was a short trip that took us to big fun! Here are the pics.

The kid crew.

The ones who drove and paid.

Levi found a pumpkin that was much bigger than he was.

Emma thinks she is Levi's mama. She was trying to love on him here.

Until he started to splash the water in the center of the pumpkin. She did not think that was nice at all.

Here are the rest of the pics.
