Field Day!!!

End-of-school days are crazy!!  There are events every week until school is out.  One of the best is field day!  The kids love it and it makes for some great pictures.

He was pretty excited to see us.

The fans.

Arik, Zaddok and Gage.  And of course the little brother.

GO GO GO!

These guys cheered Zaddok on at every turn.

Pop the balloon with your butt.  Always a crowd pleaser.

Tire pull.  We are in Texas after all.  Gotta have some red-neck games.

Little lady wore her polka-dot dress and sat so sweet in her stroller the whole time.

She did clap for Zaddok.

The tongue gives him that extra edge.

Love these 3 brothers.

He was happy with a few first place runs.

Asher got to be the 4th grade helper for Zaddy's team.  He did a great job keeping them on track.

Zaddie's birthday and a bee.

I don't know who was more excited, the birthday boy or the brother.

He was still a little sleepy but was happy to see his donut cake.

Then he got a Beyblade set.  This was a BIG deal!

He had a party with his cousins at a local pizza place.  They played games, ate pizza and had a great time.  I, however, forgot the camera so no pics.

This is my girl concentrating at her spelling bee.   She did great!  She made it several rounds before she got out.   You can't believe the pressure these kids felt.  There were tears from some.  It was kinda sad.

These three friends were all in the bee together.  Sweet and smart girls!

Good job spellers!  Good job my girl!

Kids and their performances

Jolie is in a group called Broadway Kids.  They learn music and perform in different locations around town.  The costumes are for a song called Chritmas in Any Language.  She is a little Danish girl!

Jolie and Merik

This is the famous Kindergarten Pow-Wow.  The classes all study about different Native American tribes to learn about their dress, food and language.  Then we get to come and watch them do some very non-traditional songs with motions.  It is very cute .

This is my very own Soaring Eagle from the Navajo Tribe.

Here is Zaddok with one of his best friends, Scout.  Please save your "they look kinda cozy" comments.  According to his teacher, Zaddok and Scout are never far away from each other.  It's Kindergarten people!  They are just friends!

The boys showing off some moves.

This is Zaddok's class.

I find this photo hilarious.  Kids are weird.  This is at another Broadway Kids performance.

Hi sweet girl!  You have crazy friends.

Only a few tears today...

Sweet friends at the end-of-the-year party!

Jolie still made time for her brother.

Zarha and Jolie

Levi had more fun than the school kids.

Such goof-balls

See!

Asher and his fellow dudes.

Blake and Asher have formed a tight friendship this year.
This is Asher and Ben.  They are Astros, they are buddies and they are weirdos.

Part of his 1st grade class.  Yes, they are mostly boys.  Great and sweet boys.

Bye son!  Enjoy your last moments as a 1st grader.  Oh and quit growing up so fast.  Your mommy can't take it.

Zaddy the Grad-y!!!!!

This folks, is the Bible rap.

Do the robot.  Awwww yeah!

R-E-A-D the B-I-B-L-E

This night was also Zaddok's Pre-K graduation.

He getting hugged on by his precious teacher Ms. Monique.  Oh how much I love her!

I've already done this twice but it's never easy.  Seeing babies grow from little kids into elementary kids is just hard.  But knowing how much fun it is to see them grow, I am more joyful than sad.  His adventure is just beginning.

He was so proud.

"The FACE" strikes again!

His best bud Judah was there to cheer him on.
(His little brother Jacob was preforming with the 3-year-olds.)

I have to end with this.  My little weirdy is into helmets.  Can't play in the water without a helmet.  Safety first.
