Little Wife On the Prairie

When you are everything to everyone, well, you had better act like you have it all together.

Oh my hundreds of pictures!!

I have, literally, hundreds of pictures that I could be posting right now.  But I will have some self-control and just post a few.  It's been a long and adventurous month since I last posted.  Here are some snippets of our time...

Baby girl is walking now!!  (That is not poop on her bottom, that was mud.)

And she loves her daddy!

He might like her a little bit.  :)

We have had the blessing of great weather and rain!!

We had our Papa Joe and his motorcycle gang pay us a visit.  They stopped at our tiny little town after a LONG ride.  We felt pretty special.

Then we got to try out the bikes!

See ya Papa Joe!!

We had a simple but sweet Forth.  Micah got her first face painting from Paige!

She sat so still.  I think she liked it.

Levi got to be a Ninja Turtle.  It rained while we were at the fair so there was a bit of water damage.

The garden is recovering from the early season wind and looks awesome!  The dill is taller than the corn!

I LOVE the borage.  Beautiful flowers and the bees are all over it.

My new girls patrolling the yard.

Watermelon that popped up almost overnight!

Canteloupe

And miracle of miracles!  My tomatoes are blossoming.  Maybe they will survive to produce after all.

Peppers are exploding!

I was so proud and excited to see this little guys until I went down the row to the Armenians and found...

this weapon!  It was delicious!

We got to go to Red River this summer for a small family reunion.  It was a nice time.
Grandmolly set up this weekend with all of her sister and families.  It was a lot of fun!

So that is it for now.  I will do a big blog about our Red River trip soon!  Praying blessing for you all as you enjoy July!

One thing he has taught us...

Poor unsuspecting Daddy.

Attack!!

He surrenders!

Surrender is for the weak!  Asher flanks him.

It has been a successful mission.

Thanks Daddy.  You taught us everything we need to know about formulating an attack.

We love you!  You are our heart and center of our family.  Thank you for leading us with prayer and for seeking the guidance of the Lord in all you do.  You are a precious example for each of us.  Thank you for being tender and loving but for being able to bring down the hammer when we need it.  We love you Daddy!

Update on the greens.

The garden is coming along.  Whoo hoo for rain.  And whoo hoo for a drip system
when the rain doesn't fall!!

Sad, sad little tomatoes.  I am afraid they are getting wind-whipped
I just side-dressed them with some excellent homemade compost.
Hoping that perks 'em up.  Along with God's blessing of water from the sky!

The dill seems to like it here!  Smells fabuloso!

Squash plants should not stand up like that.  It is my old friend
the wind that likes to mess with me.

Cukes chugging along.

This is borage.  Supposed to be great to plant with tomatoes, have yummy purple flowers
for the bees, and also be a great herb to have on hand.  We shall see.
Borage

Here is a pic of what it should look like eventually!

Fungus on the watermelon?  Nope, just my Moons and Stars variety.  The foliage is spotted too!

Got some pumpkins and winter squash going now.

Hey there little fellas.  I will do my best to keep you squash bug free!

Micah and her Daddy

I had to be somewhere last week so Matt was on kid duty.  Micah loves to be outside so he took her out onto the trampoline.  He decided to take the camera as well and I am so happy that he did!  Here are pics of Daddy and Micah's date.

These babies came from the bright blue eggs that I posted pics of a few weeks ago.
Levi was amazed!

As you can see I am using spaces in my sentences instead of periods.  Whoo hoo!  We were very blessed to be the recipients of some love from a good friend.  She used part of a blessing she had received to send us money to buy a new computer!

I was very amazed and kind of shocked.  My first response was to say no!  I didn't want her spending her money on me.  But she was precious and stubborn and basically told me to shut up and enjoy being blessed.  :)

She did not want to be mentioned but you know who you are and I am so thankful!  Praying God sees the blessing and returns it to you multiplied!  Love to you!
