I.never.knew.how.much.I.wanted.them.in.my.life.
My.friend.Paige.and.her.husband.George.were.
kind.enough.to.become.my.bee.mentors...They.have.
been.keeping.for.3.years...It.may.not.sound.like.a.ton.of.time.
but.
there.isquite.a.learning.curve...So.3.years.is.like.an.eternity.
I.was.blessed.to.get.to.attend.a.class.that.they.taught.all.about
keeping.bees...There.were.a.few.of.us.crazies.who.were.more
than.ready.to.get.to.the.hives.and.dive.right.in.
It.was.incredible!..So.of.course,I.will.share.in.pictures...

But.....my.bucket-list.thing.is.becoming.a.permanent.thing...Paige.
and.George.are.selling.me.a.Nuc!..My.very.own.colony.taken.out
of.theirs...It.makes.us.family.now.

My family is embarking on this same adventure. We are also very excited and look forward to our bees arriving next week! Bees are God's amazing creatures aren't they? I found you on the the Barn Hop blog. Best wishes to you.
Bees are something that I want to try, but not just yet. We may or may not be moving in the next year, and with 8 hens to move with us, I'm not sure my husband will jump on my "bees bandwagon" yet. But soon - I hope!
We are planning to have bees also and are going to a class on beekeeping in June! The Barn Hop sent me over.
Dan told me about this! He does not like bees, but I sure would enjoy them!

Enjoy your bees! Beekeeping is a very neat hobby. I am in my 3rd year of doing it and though I have gotten several stings - I love it! I had fun just watching my bees fly back and forth gathering pollen today.
